MEMORIES of late Nigeria human right activist, Chief Gani Fawehinmi came alive recently, as an Ondo based organisation; Genesis Entertainment Foundation organized a memorial concert to mark the third anniversary of his death.
In a chat with PLATFORM NEWSWIRE at the venue of the concert in Sabo, Ondo, headquarters of Ondo West local government area, founder of the Entertainment Foundation, Comrade Dele Fasan, Jnr, said he decided to organize the concert in memory of the late legal luminary, in view of the excruciating pains he passed through while struggling to liberate Nigeria from the dictatorship of military rulers.

“Late Chief Gani deserves more than what we are able to do here today, but we decided to be moderate in view of the fact that we are a non-governmental, non-profit organisation. Our interest is just to use this concert to honour him through musical presentations and other works of arts that you are seeing here today,” he said.
Among the groups and individual artistes that performed at the concert were 3Bees, Acapua, Busty Love and Lady B. They all put up scintillating performances, to the admiration of members of the audience, who include people from within and outside Ondo state, who kept on yearning for more from them.
