Governor Aregbesola commiserates with Iwo people over death of Chief Imam

Osun State Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola has commiserated with the Muslim community and the entire people of Iwo in Iwo Local Government Area of the state over the death of the Chief Imam, Alhaji Imran Ishola Oloruntogun Badrudeen.

The Governor, in a statement by the Director Bureau of Communications and Strategy, Mr. Semiu Okanlawon, said the death of the cleric occurred at a time when prayers and the experience of people like were most needed.

The Governor said the Late Chief Imam's life was a study in submission to the will of Allah, adding that he preached justice, equity and fairness with his life.

However, Governor Aregbesola said the people should be consoled by the fact that the cleric lived a life worthy of emulation and that it was from Allah we came and to Him we shall all return. He also prayed for the family to have the fortitude to bear the loss.
