Akeredolu is a Registered Voter in Owo-ACN

The Ondo State Chapter of the Action Congress of Nigeria [ACN] has observed in recent time the antics of the ruling Labour Party [LP] aimed at circumventing the wish of the people in the forth coming election.
The latest of such act is the cheap propaganda being spread by the LP to the effect that ACN candidate,Mr. Rotimi Akeredolu[SAN],is not a registered voter in Ondo State
A statement signed by the party’s Publicity Secretary,Rotimi Agbede said LP reportedly claimed to have sourced this deceptive information from the Independent National Electoral Commission [INEC].
The Party said ordinarily,it would not have dignified this propaganda with a response, but for the fact that it is capable of hoodwinking the unsuspecting members of the public into believing this fairy tale from the pit of hell.
”ACN wishes to state unequivocally that nothing can be farther from the truth than this idle talk targetted at arresting the rising profile and acceptability of Akeredolu.
“It is laughable to insinuate that the ACN flag bearer,a senior member of the Bar would contemplate of venturing into anything unconstitutional.
“More ridiculous is the attempt to wrap their lies with some form of credence by claiming that INEC issued a statement to that effect.
ACN expressed belief that the electoral body as an unbiased umpire would not channel any public communication through the LP.
The statement noted that the ruling party, having failed to enlist the support of the citizenry in its doomed agenda have resorted to various self-help including dishing out unfounded propaganda with the view of salvaging their rejected bid for second term.
It said” for the avoidance of doubt,ACN wishes to assert that Rotimi Akeredolu is a registered voter in his home town,Owo and this is verifiable.
“The ACN candidate with intimidating credentials coupled with his credible pedigree,no doubt,is the candidate to beat in this election, hence all antics to pull him down at all cost”
