The Edo State Ministry of Health has announced that admission forms into the 2011/2012 session for the three years General Nursing Certificate of Edo State School of Nursing Benin City, is still available. A statement from the office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of health, Dr. Peter Ugbodaga and endorsed by Dr Mabel Osifo, advised interested candidates to collect the admission forms from the office of the Director, State School of Nursing, km 6, Sapele Road, Benin City on payment of N5,500.
The statement explained that interested candidates must not be less than 18 years old and must possess WASC/GCE or SSCE with five credits in not more than two sittings, adding that the credits must include English Language, Biology, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
The closing date for the collection of the admission form has been fixed for Friday, June 24, 2011 while the Entrance Examination comes up on Saturday June 25, 2011 at the State School of Nursing, Sapele Road, Benin City.
