The State Government has constituted a 17-Man Economic Team, with Deputy Governor, Mrs Funmilayo Olayinka as Chairman,
The Commissioner for Information and Civic Orientation, Hon Funminiyi Afuye made this known at a press briefing on the outcome of the 21 Executive Council meeting in Ado.
He said the 17-Man economic Team is to serve as the Tank for the Government to ensure the attainment of its 8 point Agenda.
The Government spoke man also announced that the State Council has approved that bill establishing the Ekiti State Primary Health Care Development Agency be forwarded to the state House of Assembly for ratification.
Hon. Funminiyi also announced that Executive has approved the appointment of Prince Babalola as Alasin of Asin-Ekiti, following a recommendation of the six kingmakers.
The State Council approved the appointment of Warrant Chiefs for the Chieftaincy Stool of the Attah of Ayede Ekiti following the demise of Oba Adeleye Orisagbemi on January 2010.
The Warrant Chiefs are Mr. Babatunde Falodun representing Obasun, Mr. Karim Osasona representing Obadofin, Mr. Raji Abejide representing Edemo, Mr. Jonathan Omotosho representing Alawe, Mr. Obeni Tanimola representing Balogun, while Mr. Sunday Julius Osasona represents Otun.
